So as to further enhance teachers’ comprehension towards the new curriculum standard and their application abilities in the information technology, from 14th to 20th of December, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Primary Department implemented the on-the-job training contest in terms of teachers’ applicative competence in the new curriculum standard and the information technology in each teaching& research group.
The contest took place in the computer lab of the Primary Section and consisted of two sessions, the first of which was the standardized test on the new curriculum. The test was conducted in theoretical knowledge, the general objective of the course, aims in each learning stage in addition to the assessment of the curricular criteria by means of multiple-choice questions, short-answer questions and essay questions.
In addition, the test comprehensively checked the understanding and the mastery degree of the new curriculum standard of the 2011 edition. All the test-taking process was completed on the computer. Afterwards, all the answers were compiled, composed as requested and were uploaded within the allotted time.
On the whole, the on-duty training inspected teachers’ comprehension& grasp towards the new curriculum concept, examined teachers’ basic applied abilities in the information technology, accelerated teachers’ professional ethics, elevated their professional proficiency as well as laid a solid foundation for establishing high-effective classroom teaching.
